I honestly don't even know how to start this post. My trust in this app is completely gone. It was already damaged after the Discord incident and today I came across another anonymous post that left me genuinely shocked....😱

A man openly admitted that he is a Muslim and gay. Yes, you read that correctly. He said his family doesn't know, and he has no intention of telling them either. The problem is that his family is now pressuring him to get married...🤦🏻‍♀️

What really shocked me was what he said next. He wrote that he would marry a girl without telling her the truth just to get his family off his back. But what about the girl? Have you ever thought about the life you're about to destroy? Marriage isn't a shield to hide behind and another human being shouldn't have to suffer because you chose to keep such an important truth hidden...🙅🏻‍♀️

What disappointed me even more was seeing so many people supporting him. I honestly couldn't believe what I was reading....😐

From an Islamic perspective, this is haram, and deceiving someone into marriage is completely unacceptable. No one has the right to build their happiness on someone else's pain but If you still want to do this, then marry someone who openly accepts and promotes this haram stuff, but don’t deceive an innocent person....❎

Sisters, please be careful. Don't trust anyone blindly. Ask the difficult questions, involve your family, look into the person background properly, and make sure your nikah contract contains conditions that protect your rights if serious deception is discovered after marriage...✌🏻

The same advice applies to brothers as well. If some men can hide major truths, then some women may do the same. Honesty is a responsibility for everyone before marriage....✅

To be honest, posts like this make me lose faith in marriage itself. Sometimes staying single feels far better than risking a lifetime built on deception. And it really makes me wonder if this is supposed to be a Muslim app, why are situations like this not addressed? And I don’t understand why such accounts are not banned from Jamaa. Allah forbid that an innocent sister is matched with someone who intentionally hides such an important truth.....😯

Brothers and sisters, please don't ignore red flags. Do your research, investigate properly, involve your families, and never rush into marriage based on emotions alone.... 🚩
