I met someone who lives in the same city as me, and he was a very nice person. We clicked right away because we shared similar ideas and ways of thinking. We decided to meet up, and when we did, we felt a mutual attraction. He was so enchanted that after he returned home, he couldn't even sleep out of pure joy.
​Things were going wonderfully, so we decided to meet up a second time. However, this time he was extremely distracted right from the start. When I asked him why he seemed so tense, he said he was dealing with pressure at work. We continued our conversation, but I noticed he wasn't looking at me while I was speaking. When I turned around, I caught him staring at a group of girls sitting at the table behind me.
​I was deeply upset and found myself unable to keep talking to him. Shortly after, he told me that something came up and he had to leave, abandoning me at the restaurant. Before leaving, he asked me to text him once I got home. Honestly, I didn't send a message because I was so annoyed. He then texted me asking why I hadn't messaged him, to which I replied that something had come up on my end too. He got upset with me and stopped texting.
​What I want to warn you about is never to get too deeply involved in a relationship before actually meeting the person in real life.
