There is a very famous hadith from saheeh bukhari. Anas ibn Maalik, a young ansaari, had a very famous mom named umm sulaym. She sent him to the prophet to serve him and he says this went on for ten years. Anas says the Prophet Muhammad never hit him ever and also that he never spoke to him harshly. This hadith is amazing because beating a child back then was not a big issue at all. Now of course, in our time, the kids speak act like the parents lol. Alhamdulillaah. God knows best.

Yes hi just curious should I feel like a fraud for watching ai summaries of classic novels instead of spending the time to actually read them? Like I’m still reading actual books but for a lot of them that I felt like I wouldn’t enjoy, I just watch this channel that explains what goes on in that novel. Do feel a twinge of guilt about doing so
