The Shade We Never Notice
Nobody searches for shade until the sun becomes unbearable.
When the air is gentle, the tree is almost invisible.
People pass beneath its branches without looking up.
No one stops to thank it.
No one pauses to admire the comfort it quietly gives.
Then the sun grows fierce.
The same tree becomes a refuge.
How familiar that feels.
So many of Allah's blessings are like shade.
Health.
Peace.
A heart that still softens at the mention of His name.
A home to return to.
People who make your burdens lighter.
We rarely notice them while life is gentle.
It is often the heat that teaches us the value of shade.
Perhaps gratitude is not waiting until something is taken away before calling it a blessing.
Perhaps gratitude is learning to recognise Allah's mercy while we are still standing beneath it.

The blue hues of the sky and the sea are like proof of their love for one another—even though the only way their blues can meet is through the rain.

My biggest fear is marrying someone who says "Ye Kaya Bachon Wali Harkatein Hain"
when i am acting silly..🥹
