@shaz can you create a poll or survey feature on Jamaa? I’m curious as to how many people actually benefit from the Compliment feature… imo it doesn’t usually work and makes someone appear a bit desperate and therefore most people won’t use it!!

Twice within a a week and a half I’ve had men dm me asking for money.

One from Nigeria who said he’s stuck at an airport needing funds to return to uni.

Other from Gambia who’s seeking funds for his family.

To the best of my knowledge, begging is strongly discouraged Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1041 and there is no way to verify authenticity.

Two proposals:

• -those needy get warnings from filtering messages, either a launchgood cause link is provided or some way of knowing their local reliable charity I could donate to.
• -discouraging this behaviour. Having filters pick up on this in dms and provide warnings and sunnah to stop people falling for what may be trickery or ignorance.

Only way to pick up on bad actors I can think of seems like filtering through dms.

Reported tho a lot more clicks than I would have liked. Make it easy for me to link specific messages, I can’t go back and fourth to type/attach what they wrote.

Can you guys add the option to archive posts.
It only gives an option to delete.
Add these basic options on the app.
I think I can come up with a list of suggestions for you. 🙄

Why can't Jama be deactivated/deleted without deleting Muzz ?

Jamaa is so glitchy. I switch my screen on and re-open this app, and it somehow kills my Wifi, disconnecting my other apps.

I click on my new notifications, and after I've seen them, the bell icon still falsely shows that I have new notifications. And some of the new notifications are so slow to show up, that I have to click on the bell icon to see if I have new replies.

I take a few seconds longer to type up my post or comment, or I click away for a moment, and the attached image or video shows up as "Processing Media". Even after a week, the processing hasn't yet been completed and never will.

And sometimes when I click back after reading a post, instead of going back to the group, it slides to the For You page.

I've talked about these issues here ages ago. @muzz Please fix these bugs first before releasing new features.
