Islamic home finance query ....
Had an offer accepted on an house im lookihg at. Ive passed affordability on Stride up Islamic finance , although Ive got an AIP from a conventional mortgage provider too . Its costing me alot more overall to take Islamic finance, which is my preferred way because of Riba etc.. . But im just disappointed that the legal costs on Islamic finance are so much more. I spooke to my solicitor and he couldnt explain satisfactorily why there they are charging an extra £800+VAT on top of their usual fees for an Islamic Shariah financing product. Does anyone know a Decent solicitor for Islamic Finance only that is not going to charge a premium just so I can try and keep it Halal. ?? If not I’ll just take the hit. :(
