Assalamu alaikum everyone.
I wanted to ask a serious question which may be highly controversial to some, but to others maybe a thought provoking consciousness and morally driven decision.
Since Feb 24th 2022 the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine, there was an almost instant international outcry. Areas of it that were and still are illegally occupied according to international law. Throughout this entire time, there have been concerted to train the Ukrainian military, arm them and give all the political and material support to them to fight for the freedom of their homeland. It’s their right to self defence.
So my question now is why can’t we rally around the self determination of the Palestinian CIVILIAN, why can’t we set up organise the Palestinian diaspora and organise them to fight? Why can’t organisations like conduct fundraisers for weapons for every Palestinian man and woman to proudly defend their homeland from an illegally aggressive and occupying force so they can fight back and retake their illegally occupied territories?
I’m NOT saying arm nefarious groups or entities which would be illegal. What I am saying why can’t we as a western democracy organise, train and fund the Palestinian diaspora here in the UK on our military bases and ready them for the fight? Where they can be proud and confident they are finally being heard and supported and encouraged to go become protectors of their sovereign territories?
This is a seriously moral question for a free thinking society to have as it exposes the sheer hypocrisy and the double standard of the west when it comes to freedom, justice and self determination of a people. Surely it is common sense to physically prepare the people to fight off further invasion of their lands for any internationally recognised and legitimate country?
We should be doing more than just chanting on the streets of the capital with drums. we should be setting up Palestinian focused UK based companies and UM army should be providing training centres to equip Palestinians in the same tactics of guerilla warfare as they did the Ukrainians. Asymmetric warfare, electronic warfare, naval drone tech, explosives training, sabotage, signal intelligence, political sabotage and kompromat etc - all overseen transparently by the UK military.
If freedom is that much of a social cause, the UK government and the country as a whole should put its money where its mouth is no? I strongly believe there should be channels to train, arm and tactically prepare Palestinian civilians to fight. Once a few IDF ships are sunk and once a few energy platforms are blasted with high tech drone tech, you best believe the military and political landscape and conversation will change.
Why is it okay for Ukrainians to be armed and equipped to fight and be applauded but Palestinians fighting are a nuisance, are rogue agents or are a problem? Why not legal the paying field, a stable strong Palestine is the counterweight to IDF aggression. I would happily stop giving my zakat to the hungry and give it to a cause which facilitates and creates a unified internationally recognised Palestinian military externally. Then we airdrop them in and watch justice truly unfold. No one likes bloodshed, but at some point we all have to fight for peace.

Andy Burnham's DAD Roy DIES following battle with Alzheimer’s. 😭🤲😭💔😭
Andy Burnham's father has sadly died, having been living with Alzheimer's. Kenneth Roy Burnham, known as Roy, had been living with Alzheimer's in a care home.
The sad news has been confirmed by Downing Street this afternoon (September 14).
The Prime Minister's engagements have been cancelled today and tomorrow as a result.
