I came to Muzzmatch at my lowest. After several relationships that didn't lead to marriage and brought a lot of fitna, I needed to prove to myself that I could love again. When I discovered the social media component of the app my focus changed from searching for love to learning how to love. What I found here changed me. Reading so many real stories made me feel alive again and completely changed my perspective on marriage. I used to hold many “theories” about single parents especially divorcees and widows until I read the stories of some truly remarkable women on this app. Their strength humbled me. That experience changed my intentions. I made a sincere vow to marry a widow or a like minded divorcee, even if she is a single parent, and also to adopt a child as a fulfillment of my social and religious duty. Sometimes it is at your lowest that you see the world most clearly. Your humanity awakens. But holding on to those lessons and living by them consistently requires discipline and Taqwa. Today, I stand firmly by that decision. I am truly grateful to Muzz for bringing out the best in me. To those who constantly take the opportunity to remind us about life by sharing their personal experiences, may Allah ease your affairs and guide us all.

I was at the gym during Ramadan, midway through a heavy squat set, when I realized I’d completely lost count of my reps.
Without thinking, I defaulted to muscle memory and started reciting Astaghfirullah out loud on every rep.
A guy nearby walked over, handed me his water bottle, and said, "Bro, you look like you're fighting for your soul—take a sip."
I had to explain that I wasn't dying, just fasting, and apparently praying my way through a leg day. We’ve been workout partners ever since, though he still checks my pulse if I go quiet during a set.
