May God open the doors of unexpected opportunities, bless our work and our efforts, and give us success beyond what we ever imagined. 🤲❤️🔴

It's funny, because a full year hasn't even passed and I've been bedbound twice.

Looking back a few months ago, I never would have thought I'd be back at the gym like I am now.

Running like I used to, pushing weights heavier than I ever managed before, and feeling stronger one day at a time.

But it was only a few months ago that I thought to myself, I don't think I could ever go back to being that person I was.

My health was at its lowest, and so was the rest of me.

But I started.

One stretch at a time.

My whole body was stiff to the core, so I had to take my time.

From slow mornings.

To eating good, nutritious food that made me feel warm inside.

To doing simple exercises to regain my autonomy once more.

It wasn't easy. But I surprised myself.

I thought I couldn't walk for more than 10 minutes, but then I walked for a whole hour.

I struggled to use the treadmill for more than 30 seconds, and now I'm running for 20 minutes straight.

I struggled with weights, and now I'm pushing my own body weight.

The aim isn't even to get fit anymore.

The aim is simply to live.

To have the ability to move around with ease. To run when I please and rest when my body needs it.

To simply take care of my body in the way that it needs me to.

Our body is a gift from Allah.

It never belonged to us, and it never will.

Our body, and many other things, will testify against us one day. And I want mine to return not only in a beautiful condition, but in a condition that will please Allah.

To be able to tell Allah that I exhausted all that was within my means to take care of His amanah.

To be able to return a gift even more beautiful than the way I received it.

That's the aim.

So when I go to the gym, it's not just to get lean, become fit or feel good.

It's my way of taking care of that special gift.

To get healthier for Him.

So, if you need a gentle reminder, let this be it.

Start today.

Even if it's only a stretch.

A walk in the park.

A meet up with a good friend.

Or simply making a freshly cooked meal.

Do something that will not only revive your soul, but your body too 😊

A little reminder for her… 🤍

You deserve someone who sees beyond your smile and understands your heart. 🌷
Someone who values your peace, protects your trust, and respects your boundaries. ✨
Someone who stays consistent even when life gets busy. 🕊️
Never settle for words when actions can tell you everything. 🤍
The right person won’t make you chase their attention—they’ll make you feel naturally valued. 💫
Choose a connection where respect is mutual, effort is equal, and peace comes naturally. 🌸

If someone says they are actively practicing but theyre wearing skin tight clothes , showing off their body etc.... can you say you're actively practicing. It's not to be judgemental but its more about maintaining honesty of where you are at with your deen. Right? Character is very important and i know people will say look inward more than outward. But if your inward is saying its ok for you to be like that outwardly..something is wrong no?
