Advice from the girlies :

Ok girls, I wanna slowly start donning the hijab. As you can imagine the journey can be quite difficult esp if you live overseas where everything is western. So if you had advice sisters how do you have to ease into it. I feel claustrophobic if I wear hijab too long like something is wrapped around my neck, my head overheats a lot especially in summer. I hate the shape of my head when I wear it too. Full sleeves all the time make me feel warm and restricted. The other thing is I love love love fashion and looking cute. I understand hijab is to not look attractive to the opposite gender but I can't get there in a day as I love dressing up, so how do I start wearing hijab in a way it is modest and covering those main parts of my body whilst I still feel cute to myself. Confidence is everything for me. I know most of us women love feeling and looking attractive not necessarily for the male gaze but even for ourselves, so how do I start my journey without intimidating myself with the above?

I'm also a regular gym goer, feeling good about my progress and body in the gym is a part of my routine, and like I said headcovers overheat my head and body. How do I dress modestly in the gym and still run comfortably and see my progress in the mirror?

No hate but this post is only for women, a man's opinion in this regard is invalid to me here cause they don't know and will never truely know the struggles of wearing hijab and consistent modesty all their life especially living in a western country.
