Assalamualaikum people.
How frequently do you visit the dentist?

Being a lover of desserts comes at a cost for me personally which I pay each time I visit the dentist😭😭😭😭

PS: all the brushing regularly still doesn't help some of us just have to make frequent dental appointments thanks to our sweeth tooth and weak enamel.

Anyone with similar struggles time for you to comment.

Ogbono (African bush mango seeds) is commonly used to prepare thick, delicious Nigerian soups.

Many don’t know that, beyond its taste, it provides nutrients that support good health.

Learn them today

5 health benefits of ogbono

  1. Supports digestion
Ogbono contains fibre that can help support regular bowel movements.

  2. Provides healthy fats
Its seeds contain fats that supply energy and help the body absorb vitamins A, D, E and K.

  3. Supports heart health
Replacing some saturated fats with unsaturated fats can help improve cholesterol levels.

  4. Provides essential nutrients
Ogbono contains nutrients, including minerals, that contribute to normal body functions.

  5. Helps with fullness
Its fibre and fat content may help you feel satisfied after eating, depending on how the soup is prepared.

Who should be careful with ogbono?

  1. People trying to lose weight
Ogbono soup can be calorie-dense, especially when prepared with plenty of palm oil and fatty meat. Watch your portions rather than avoiding it completely.

  2. People with digestive sensitivity
Large portions may cause bloating or discomfort in some people.

  3. People with food allergies
Avoid ogbono if you have a known allergy to it or develop symptoms of an allergic reaction.

  4. People managing high cholesterol: Pay attention to the amount of palm oil and fatty meat added to the soup, not just the ogbono seeds.

Most people can enjoy ogbono as part of a balanced diet.
