Every Step Is a Gift
How many miracles does it take before one becomes ordinary?
One?
A hundred?
Or ten thousand steps a day?
Perhaps that is the strange habit of being human.
We stop calling something a miracle the moment it becomes familiar.
We applaud the marathon.
We admire the mountain.
We celebrate the destination.
Then quietly ignore the feet that carried us there, as though they borrowed their strength from us.
Isn't that curious?
The body keeps serving.
The joints keep bending.
The lungs keep bargaining with the air.
The heart keeps writing life into us, one beat at a time.
And our greatest complaint is that the walk was "too far."
What a wonderfully forgetful species we are.
Every step is a silent agreement between countless mercies we never negotiated.
Bones that hold.
Muscles that obey.
Balance that doesn't ask for applause.
Breath that arrives before we remember to ask for it.
Perhaps gratitude was never meant to begin after reaching the destination.
Perhaps it begins the moment one foot leaves the ground and finds somewhere safe to return.
Maybe that is why every step is more than movement.
It is mercy, repeated so often that we mistook it for normal.

Are We Playing the Game, or Is the Game Playing Us? 🤔
For thousands of years, people have sought joy and entertainment. From the roaring crowds of the Roman Colosseum and the excitement of the ancient Greek Olympic Games to the packed stadiums of today, sports have always brought people together. The problem is not sports themselves or the passion of cheering for a team. It begins when entertainment becomes the center of our lives, pushing aside our priorities, principles, and sense of purpose.
The challenge is to enjoy the game without letting it define us. We should celebrate victories without losing humility, accept defeat without hatred, and disagree with others without sacrificing respect or our moral values. In an age where social media platforms and their algorithms constantly compete for our attention, we must be careful not to become controlled by them.
Sports should unite rather than divide. The final whistle always comes, and every match eventually ends. What remains long after the score is forgotten are our character, our values, and the way we treated one another.

Life is actually simple.
Not everything needs drama.
Not every conversation has to become an argument.
Not every relationship has to be toxic.
Protect your peace, choose kindness, and keep life simple. ✨

How do you guys deal with hunger cravings especially at night. I feel like crying right now
I’m trying to lessen my body fat, because these past few weeks I’ve been in a mental health rut and I cope by doordashing really bad foods throughout the week and I binge, it gives me some sort of enjoyment. Then from that, my face balloons and I look like a complete slob. It’s during this time, that I stop my fitness routine entirely- I’ve been noticing this usually occurs at least once a month.
I’ve been trying to experiment with electrolytes throughout the day, and now when I get hungry at night I drink it, and it helps. And for the day, I supplement with caffeine which also curbs my appetite. I eat whole meals during the day or at least once after I get back from work.
Let me know any tips or advice, jazakallahukhairun
