A Sincere Advice to Pakistani Men in the UK 🇬🇧🇵🇰
To all Pakistani guys living in the UK on a visa, whether you’re still struggling or have a secure job, please be extra careful when looking for marriage.
If you match with a British Pakistani woman, be cautious. Some people may give you false hopes of marriage while expecting expensive restaurant dates, shopping trips, and financial attention. They may pray regularly, wear a scarf, and talk about Islam and Deen, but religious appearances don’t always reflect genuine intentions.
I’ve personally experienced this. Alhamdulillah, Istikhara is part of my regular routine, and Allah protected me by revealing the truth before it was too late.
My advice: On your first coffee date, ask serious questions about marriage and make it clear that you won’t spend money on expensive dates or shopping until families are involved and intentions are genuine.
Not everyone is the same, but please stay alert.
Protect your time, money, emotions, and self-respect. May Allah protect everyone from dishonest people and false promises. Ameen.
