Imam Ali (p) said:

Patience in the face of desire is chastity,
in the face of anger, it is rescue, and
in the face of sin, it is God-fearing.

In his narrations, Imam al-Sadiq (p) mentions Shaytan's traps and how to avoid succumbing to them.

Shaytan said, Five actions keep those who perform them beyond my reach, while everyone else is within my grasp:

  1. -Seeking refuge in Allah (swt) with sincere intention; Relying on Allah in all matters
  2. -Filling one's nights and days with abundant glorification of Allah
  3. -Wanting for one's brother and sister in faith what one wants for himself
  4. -Not faltering into despair in the face of a calamity
  5. -Remaining contented with what Allah has apportioned, untroubled and without grief over one's sustenance.
  • -Al-Nuri, Mustadarak al-Wasa'il, v. 11, p. 213

The Ahl al-Bayt (pbut) teach us the wisdom that hardship carries benefits: O Allah, grant me complete understanding, clear wisdom, a purified heart, abundant actions, excellent manners, and make all of this for me and not against me, O Most Merciful of the Merciful.

Peace isn't found in having a perfect life—it's found in gratitude, patience, and trusting the journey. The right people will appreciate your sincerity more than your perfection. 🌙

Walk with sabr, let your heart stay bright,
Trust in Allah through every night.
Every trial carries hidden grace,
Every prayer brings you closer to His embrace.
Do good in silence, forgive with ease,
Find contentment in what Allah decrees.
Step by step, with faith as your guide,
Jannah is the goal keep Allah by your side.
