I want to ask you all a question from the depths of my heart. ❤️‍🩹

What do you do when you are willing to sacrifice your own happiness just to keep your relationships together? When you keep forgiving, keep compromising, and keep giving people chances because you cannot imagine losing them? When, despite all the pain, you still choose them, hoping that one day they will understand how much they mean to you.

But what happens when those very people break your trust, shatter your hopes, and hurt you in ways you never imagined? What happens when, during the darkest chapter of your life, when you need them the most, they choose to stand beside your enemies instead of standing beside you?

How do you accept the pain of being betrayed by the very people you would have stood against the whole world for? How do you explain to your heart that the people you were trying so hard to hold on to were the same people letting you fall apart?

So tell me, what should a person do in such a situation? Should they walk away, even when their heart still wants to stay? Or should they keep trying, keep sacrificing, and keep saving a relationship that seems to mean everything to them but so little to the other side?
