I think loving yourself changes the way you love people.
When you're kinder to yourself, you become more patient with others. You stop needing constant validation, learn healthier boundaries, and become less likely to make people pay for battles they're not responsible for.
Self-love isn't selfishness. Sometimes, loving yourself simply makes you a better person to love others with. Ergo, you need to forgive yourself for the past, and learn to accept yourself. Cheers
