I’m starting to understand why my family always tells me to look much deeper when considering someone who has been married before. 🥲

Not because being divorced automatically makes someone bad definitely not. Sometimes the marriage simply failed, sometimes both people contributed to the problems, and sometimes one person carried far more of the damage than the other.

But one thing is true: there is always a story behind a divorce.

And if I’m considering building a future with someone, I need to understand that story carefully not to judge the past, but to know whether the lessons were actually learned, whether the patterns have changed, and whether there are unresolved issues that could eventually enter the next marriage.

So yes… it makes me think 10x harder now. 🫠

Especially when children, an ex-spouse, co-parenting, emotional baggage, or complicated family dynamics are involved.

Being open-minded is still important. But I’m learning that being open-minded doesn’t mean ignoring risk.

Sometimes wisdom is simply asking more questions before saying yes. 🥲🤍

Do you think...

emotional compatibility can matter more than physical attraction in a marriage?

Being together isn’t enough to keep relationship alive.
Sometimes understanding each other’s feelings is what truly matters .
He maybe my husband but sadly,he doesn’t understand the exhaustion and emotions I carry as a women.

You don't have to control everything to live peacefully. Focus on what you can change, accept what you can't, and give yourself permission to breathe.
