I’ve been reflecting on the concept of Sakinah (tranquillity).

How many of you older ladies get requested by older brothers who claim to be interested in you but yet they want to date for an extended period of time hanging out getting to know you? Understand the older people, especially those who have been married before may not want to jump into something right away, but how do you balance dealing with the thought of someone wanting to just date you for a period of time who is claiming to be Muslim when we all know this isn’t an Islamic way to go about it, but yeah, it seems like us older women have a harder time of being approached the appropriate way?
Like this is what I’m always asked and I just don’t know what to do anymore. Seems like I’ll never get remarried because once a man asked to date me for an extended period of time I’m automatically turned off.
