Can someone explain to me why guys like ladies profile but have intentions not to chat the person

Sometimes I wonder if some people actually listen when you tell them where you are in life.

You tell her, “I’m starting from here. I’m building my life from the ground up.” And somehow, she thinks you’re joking. 😂

In her mind, there must be a hidden mansion, a secret account, or some big surprise coming later. Like, “He’s probably testing me. Let me just play along because maybe when everything is revealed, I’ll be the one who stayed.”
