So...

I got a chat request.

It started with:

I thought,

"Maybe he knows me from somewhere."

So I replied politely.

Thirty seconds later...

"Where are you from?"

Still normal.

Then came...

That's when my brain whispered,

"Hold on..."

So I said,

"Bro... you do know I'm a guy, right?"

He immediately replied,

I smiled.

"Poor guy. Honest mistake."

Wrong.

The plot had only just begun.

He then casually dropped:

At this point...

my brain stopped receiving software updates.

I asked,

"But... you haven't even seen me."

He replied,

"You already told me you're a guy."

Sir...

That answered absolutely none of my questions. 😭

Out of pure curiosity,

I sent him a disappearing picture.

A few seconds later...

I froze.

I genuinely didn't know

whether he meant me...

or my camera quality.

So I asked,

"Wait... me or the picture?" 😭

His response?

No clarification.

No explanation.

Just confidence.

Meanwhile...

I was questioning every life decision that had led me to this chat.

Finally...

I surrendered and typed:

"Brother... why are you making me question my entire existence?" 😭😭

He never argued.

He never panicked.

He simply continued being wholesome...

while I continued having an identity crisis.

Sometimes you open Jamaa hoping to find a spouse...
