AssalamuAlaykum I am so happy that MashaAllah so many people are considering going Ummrah. I am making this anon because i dont worldly gain I just hope this helps InshaAllah and please note I am not very knowledgeable myself just things I could remember (may Allah SWT forgive me if I have made any errors below)
So Here are a few tips:

  • -remember in ihram you cannot use scent so pack scentless soap
  • -bring a simple abaya and a long hijab i used a pre-made one so it keeps all hair inside
  • -bring scissors in checked in baggage so you can cut your hair to exit ihram (for guys it is different try to locate a barber near haram or something)
  • -bring water bottle to be able to bring zam zam water back to hotel from haram
  • -watch YouTube videos and note down gate numbers for quicker access to shops etc.
  • -try to get a hotel by masjid e nabawi to prevent commute time and allows for you to be able to go to the mosque much regularly and with more ease. One possible schedule is go for Fajr come back sleep and wake up at duhr shower head to the haram pray duhr then pray Asr to Esha in congregation. After that go eat something nice head home sleep. Repeat :)
  • -you can deffo buy abayas and hijabs near most hotels but your choice and still pack a few cuz you dont want to be in a pickle
  • -arrive to Jummah prayer ASAP like before the adhan even otherwise you could be praying outside
  • -bring a prayer mat! Always amd masks as well just in case
  • -take your vaccinations if possible and check for your country
  • -only book from the Haramain official website for the train between Makkah and Medina or you may also buy at the station of seats are available which hopefully they are
  • -you need to apply for a visa! Check the official Saudi website (again lots of similar named wrong websites) to see if your country is eligible for an evisa idk if they are still doing it but if they are then go thru the application process and keep a copy at hand
  • -download nusuk and create an account this is how you book your slot for rawdah (of SAW) and for ummrah booking
  • -dont rush if you have time spekd maybe 3 days in Makkah and at least 5 in Medina
  • -remember to do ziyaret meaning visit holy sites in both Makkah and Medina
  • -always keep your phone charged and have maps and translator ready to go if needed
  • -download careem idk maybe Uber also works in Saudi either way have an app like that on your phone ready to go
  • -bring cash! In Saudi riyals
  • -keep small cash with you to give to workers etc
  • -give to the mosque by buying chairs and stamped Qurans that are eligible and allowed to be placed in masjid e nabawi
  • -do not eat inside the mosque you can eat outside like right outside the doors and between the gates but please clean up after yourself
  • -don't leave your belongings anywhere or go with just anyone alone and do not sit in random cars offering to drop you off
  • -learn some Arabic words
  • -bring something like a light shawl or sweater for cooler months especially for nighttime in Medina
  • -and yeah you got this!

And most important remember you are going to the holy cities people may test your patience so keep patient!

And tbh idk about the mahram non-mahram i had thought you need your mahram so I would not like to advise on that as I am not knowledgeable enough 🙃

i let her go because i didn’t want her to keep suffering from the pain i was causing her. i kept repeating the same mistakes and i wasn’t enough to become the person she wanted me to be but a part of me still want to be her baby again 🙁 but do i still deserve that chance after i hurt her so bad ? it hurts me so much to let her go but i don’t want her to keep enduring the pain i’ve caused her. i love her too much to keep watching her suffer because of me.

❤🌿 THE BEAUTY OF SURAH AL-JINN 🌿❤

Surah Al-Jinn (سورة الجن) is the 72nd chapter of the Qur’an. It has 28 verses and reminds us that guidance is not limited to human beings—among the jinn are also those who hear the Qur’an, believe in Allah, and submit to Him.

🌙 The Beautiful Beginning

Allah tells us:

«“Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ ‘It has been revealed to me that a group of jinn listened ˹to the Quran˺, then said, ‘Indeed, we have heard a wondrous recitation.’”
— Qur’an 72:1»

The jinn heard the Qur’an and immediately recognized its beauty and truth. They were amazed by its guidance and responded with faith.

🌿 LESSONS FROM SURAH AL-JINN

  1. The Qur’an changes hearts. 🤍
The jinn listened to the Qur’an and their hearts were moved. This teaches us never to underestimate the power of Allah’s words.

  2. Tawheed is the foundation of faith. ☝️
They declared that their Lord is One and that He has no partner. Surah Al-Jinn repeatedly brings us back to sincere worship of Allah alone.

  3. The unseen belongs to Allah. 🌙
We should not become obsessed with jinn, magic, or the unseen. Allah reminds us that knowledge of the unseen ultimately belongs to Him.

  4. Even the jinn have choices and accountability.
Among them are righteous believers and others who are rebellious. Every creation is accountable to Allah for its choices.

  5. Do not seek protection from creation instead of Allah. 🤲
The surah warns against seeking refuge through the jinn. Our ultimate protection must always be sought from Allah سبحانه وتعالى.

  6. Guidance is a blessing. 🌸
When someone recognizes the truth, the correct response is to submit to Allah and follow His guidance—not merely admire it.

💎 A MESSAGE FOR US

Sometimes we listen to the Qur’an every day but forget to let it change us.

The jinn heard the Qur’an once and were deeply affected by it. They recognized its truth and responded with faith.

So let us ask ourselves:

Am I only listening to the Qur’an, or am I allowing the Qur’an to transform my heart, my character, my prayers, and my relationship with Allah?

🤲 DU'A

Ya Allah, make the Qur’an the light of our hearts, the guidance of our lives, and the source of peace in our souls. Increase us in sincere faith, protect us from the whispers of Shaytan and every evil, and allow us to die as Muslims who truly submit to You. Ameen Ya Rabb. 🤲🏽❤️

🌙 Qur’an Reminder

«“And whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will put them through an escalating punishment.”
— Qur’an 72:17»

May Allah make us among those who listen to His words, understand them, live by them, and share them with others. Ameen. 🤲🏽📖

Jazakumullahu khayran for reading. May Allah bless our Muslim group and keep our hearts attached to the Qur’an. 🌿🤍
