I wasn't joking when I said that nowadays some Muslim couples are even organizing gender-reveal parties. 😭💔

What's happening to us?

We're Muslims. We should be asking ourselves:

“Is this something Islam encourages, or are we simply copying what we've seen online?”

Nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes and we all need reminders.

But let's be careful about blindly adopting every trend that comes from the West just because it is popular, entertaining or “normal” on social media.

Not everything that trends deserves to become part of our lives.

Our standard should be the Qur’an and Sunnah—not Instagram, TikTok or whatever is trending.

May Allah ﷻ guide us all to the straight path, protect us from blindly following harmful trends, and make us content with what pleases Him.

🪦 TWO PEOPLE WHO WILL BE PUNISHED IN THEIR GRAVES

The Prophet ﷺ once passed by two graves and said that their occupants were being punished.

One of them:

• Used to spread people's words to cause trouble between them — carrying tales from one person to another to create conflict.

The other:

• Was careless about purification from urine — not taking sufficient care to protect himself from its impurity.

📚 ʿUmdat al-Aḥkām📚📖

SubḥānAllāh. 😔

Two things that may seem small to people can have serious consequences:

🗣️ Don't carry people's words around to create fitnah.

🚿 Don't be careless about purification after urinating.

Be careful with your tongue.
Be careful with your purification.
Take your Ṣalāh seriously.

May Allah ﷻ protect us from the punishment of the grave, purify our hearts and tongues, and grant us the ability to follow the Sunnah correctly.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh 🤍

Surah ‘Abasa carries a beautiful reminder about humility, sincerity, and the true value of a person in the sight of Allah.

🌿 Lessons from Surah ‘Abasa:

🤍 Never look down on anyone because of their status, wealth, appearance, or circumstances.

📖 A sincere heart seeking Allah and knowledge is more valuable than worldly position.

🌙 True honor is not measured by what we have, but by our taqwa and sincerity.

🕊️ We should treat others with kindness, patience, and respect.

🌧️ The Surah reminds us of the countless blessings Allah has given us and how dependent we are upon Him.

🤲🏽 It also reminds us that one day every soul will stand before Allah, and what will matter is what we did with the life He gave us.

✨ A beautiful reminder:
The person whom people may overlook could be the one who is most honored in the sight of Allah because of the sincerity in their heart.

May Allah make us humble, kind, sincere, and among those who listen to His reminders and act upon them. May He purify our hearts and increase us in beneficial knowledge and taqwa.
