📖✨ TODAY’S TOPIC: THE RIGHTS OF PARENTS IN ISLAM ✨📖

In Islam, honoring and respecting our parents is among the greatest acts of worship after worshipping Allah سبحانه وتعالى. Parents sacrifice so much for us with love, patience, and hardship, and Allah commands us to treat them with kindness, mercy, and humility.

📖 Allah says in the Qur’an:

«“And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them reach old age while with you, do not say to them even ‘uff,’ and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.”
— Qur'an Surah Al-Isra 17:23»

As Muslims, we should:
✨ Respect and obey our parents in what is good
✨ Speak to them gently and with kindness
✨ Make du’a for them always
✨ Support and care for them, especially in old age
✨ Avoid hurting them through words or actions

🤲 May Allah bless our parents, forgive those who have passed away, grant them Jannatul Firdaus, and make us among the righteous children who honor them. Ameen.
