A sacred journey of faith and devotion 🕋 Share reflections, duas, and experiences from Hajj and Umrah and support each other along the way.
Interesting poddy about Hajj/Umrah (don't let the title in the picture fool you).
I'm looking for a reliable travel agency in the Netherlands that organizes Umrah and Hajj trips. Unfortunately, it's been difficult to find one I can fully trust, especially after a bad experience in the past.
Is there anyone from Amsterdam who can recommend a trustworthy agency or share their personal experience? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!
know your worth, have feel enough, stay grateful, lean on Allah, and follow the Sunnah..
Choosing the right floor for Tawaf is not always easy. Sometimes we do not realize how much this decision can affect our comfort and focus in worship, especially during Hajj season or times of heavy crowding.
Many pilgrims naturally choose the ground floor (Mataaf) because it is the closest to the Kaaba. And the closer you are to the Kaaba, the deeper the spiritual connection many people feel.
I would like to share a few things I have learned—
1️⃣ Ground Floor (Mataaf)
This is the closest area to the Kaaba. However, it is usually the most crowded. At the same time, many people feel the strongest spiritual connection while performing Tawaf here because of the closeness to the Kaaba.
2️⃣ Upper Floors (1st & 2nd Floors)
These floors are usually less crowded, making it easier for many people to maintain a steady pace during Tawaf. Wheelchairs can also be used on these two floors. From the first floor, the view of the Kaaba 🕋 is generally better compared to the second floor.
3️⃣ Roof (when open)
Usually, this area offers the most space. However, it also requires the longest walking distance. Most people perform Tawaf by walking here.
Many times, the periods before and after Fajr, as well as nighttime, are comparatively less crowded. (Especially for sisters who prefer less crowding, and as modesty and proper covering are important in Islam.) Therefore, these times may be easier and more comfortable for those who prefer a calmer environment for Tawaf.
On the other hand, the time around Dhuhr and Asr can be quite hot, especially during the summer months. It is important to keep the heat and sunlight in mind. These hours can be more challenging, particularly for elderly pilgrims.
One thing is true—the closer you are to the Kaaba, the deeper the connection many people feel. Performing Tawaf, making dua, and simply looking at the Kaaba can be a very special experience for the heart.
That is why each person should choose the option that helps them worship in the best way possible, balancing crowd conditions, physical ability, and their own spiritual comfort.
Consider:
✅ Your physical strength
✅ Your mobility and health condition
✅ The crowd level at that time
✅ Whether you are accompanying elderly family members or children
✅ Your own peace of mind and ability to focus in worship
Think about these factors and choose what is best for you.
As always, I am only sharing what I know and have observed. If I have made any mistakes, please feel free to correct me.
Save this information before your next Umrah or Hajj. 🤍🕋
May Allah grant all of us the ability to perform Tawaf with sincerity, khushu', and a peaceful heart. Ameen.

Ya Allah🤲💖💫
Don't give me the one everyone admires. Give me the one You are pleased with the one whose Imaan is sincere, whose character is gentle, and whose love becomes a path that leads us both. Aameen.
Assalamu Alaikum, the weather is pleasant today. 🤩🤩
🌿 THE BEAUTY OF SURAH IBRAHIM 🌿
One of the greatest lessons from Surah Ibrahim is that true success comes through gratitude, patience, and complete trust in Allah ﷻ. No matter how difficult life becomes, a believer remains firm, knowing that Allah's plan is always perfect.
📖 Lesson from Surah Ibrahim:
"And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed: 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor].'"
(Surah Ibrahim 14:7)
This verse teaches us that gratitude is not just saying Alhamdulillah with our tongues, but also using Allah's blessings in ways that please Him. The more grateful we are, the more Allah increases us in goodness.
🌿 Story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) in the Surah
Surah Ibrahim beautifully mentions the heartfelt dua of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) after he left his wife Hajar and son Ismail (AS) in the barren valley of Makkah, trusting completely in Allah's command.
He made this beautiful supplication:
"My Lord, make this city secure and keep me and my sons away from worshipping idols."
(Surah Ibrahim 14:35)
Despite being one of the greatest prophets, Ibrahim (AS) still feared falling into shirk and constantly turned to Allah for guidance and protection. His story teaches us humility, reliance upon Allah, and the importance of making dua for ourselves and our families.
✨ Reflection: Just as Allah transformed the empty desert of Makkah into the heart of Islam, He can turn our hardships into blessings. Trust Allah's timing, remain grateful, and never stop making dua.
May Allah ﷻ make us among the grateful, protect our faith, and bless our families with guidance. Ameen. 🤍
