Assalamualikum,
Quick reminder to all of the Muslim fellows on this app, I've noticed that people are starting to ignore the issue regarding Palestine, the one thing we were able to do was stop using products associated with Israel. As the time is passing by, this issue is fading away from our hearts. Please don't stop boycotting these products, your efforts will not be in vain and you will be rewarded for this in akhirah.
Jazakallah.

Before They Became Headlines
Before they became headlines...
they were simply someone's answered du'a.
A mother once carried them beneath her heart, counting tiny kicks instead of counting days.
A father once whispered dreams over a sleeping child, never imagining that one day the world would know their name through sorrow.
Before they became photographs the world would mourn,
they were laughter running through narrow streets,
little hands reaching for warm bread,
siblings arguing over nothing at all,
students staying awake a little longer because tomorrow carried another dream.
Someone wanted to become a doctor.
Someone was learning to heal with medicine.
Someone was building bridges.
Someone was writing poems no one has read yet.
Someone had just memorised another page of the Qur'an.
Someone was waiting for graduation.
Someone was planning a wedding.
Someone was learning how to become a better mother.
Life was already unfolding...
quietly,
beautifully,
like the first light of dawn that never imagines the coming storm.
Then the world learned their names.
Not through their dreams,
but through their grief.
Not through the lives they were building,
but through the lives that were interrupted.
And I wonder...
How many beautiful stories have we reduced to numbers?
How many futures have disappeared beneath a headline?
How many names does Allah still call by love while the world remembers only statistics?
Perhaps that is why I cannot scroll past Palestine without pausing.
Because I no longer see headlines.
I see children who were deeply loved.
I see parents who carried oceans of hope.
I see ordinary people whose ordinary lives were precious long before the world learned to speak their names.
Ya Allah,
Be gentle with the people of Palestine.
Preserve those who remain.
Shower Your mercy upon those who have returned to You.
And never allow our hearts to become so familiar with headlines that we forget the human souls behind them.
I love you all for the sake of Allah.

Vocal Politics VPol on Instagram: "According to the archival project Israel Exposed, the anonymous archive behind the "Children of G-za" Telegram channel was run by a terminally ill Christian monk living in a monastery in Romania's Carpathian Mountains, assisted by a young woman named Sally. ■ The anonymous Monk reportedly documented thousands of images and videos of Israeli att-cks on Palestinian children in G-za, preserving them as a historical archive. ■ The team behind Israel Exposed said “told us he wanted to spend his final days r-s-sting what he saw as the gravest cr-mes against children — and that is exactly what he did,” adding “He never saw his work reach the public, and never knew about our new site or the attention it has drawn.” ■ At his request, his identity has not been disclosed. The images released are of the monastery where he spent his final years. #VPol"

Someone on jamaa literally pushing / promoting a gen^cide enabling / sponsoring brand earlier, then getting triggered when made aware... 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I spoke to a student from Gaza today and it really put things into perspective for me. We moan at waking up for a job but there are people who literally don’t want anything more than to have a job to wake up to. This would’ve been her peak as a student or graduate, she would’ve just stepped into her career but she can’t. Reminder to myself first to really truly be grateful for every regular thing I take for granted.
