If you are a poet and you didn't even know it
“You could stab me in the heart & i will still say “ everything will be ok”. Everytime “
“Home will always be where my princess lays her head to rest at night, a place where ill search for all day for.
For where thats where my princess could be found. “
-B.A.D. ( “ night & day “ )
The heaviest page in my poetry book currently,…
is an empty page that is full of dried tear drops. 😔
🖋️🌙
Poetry has always fascinated me.
A few lines of verse can sometimes say what a thousand conversations cannot.
A poem can carry love without a confession, grief without tears, hope without promises, and faith without a sermon.
Here’s a little piece I wrote:
“The moon asked the night,
‘Why do people fear the dark?’
The night replied,
‘Because they forget that stars are born there.’
And so it is with life;
we curse the storms,
yet often the rain is preparing
the gardens we prayed for.” 🌧️✨
Now I’m curious…
📖 What is one line of poetry—from any language—that has stayed with you for years?
A line that touched your heart, changed your perspective, or still echoes in your mind whenever life gets difficult.
Let’s fill this thread with beautiful words. 🌷
“Please
My baby
Dont leave me
Ill go crazy
Believe me
Breathe me
Im going insane
Love me
Hug me
Ill come to your city
& make arrangements
So please
My baby
Dont leave me
Ill go crazy
Believe me
Breathe me
Im going insane
Love me
Hug me
Ill come to your city
& make arrangements”
When your ugly & someone loves you, you know they love you for who you are.
“ i was born when she kissed me ,
I died when she left me ,
I lived a few weeks while she loved me “
