In English, we say: "You forgot me."
But in poetry, we say: "I became a memory while you were still living in mine."

Ramadan 2027.
RAMADAN 1448 AH
103 days left to Ramadan
@Aameen94440309
RAMADAN 1448 AH IS COMING… BUT WILL YOU BE HERE TO WITNESS IT?
Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
please stop for a moment and think deeply about this.
We are counting down the days to Ramadan, making plans for Suhoor, Iftar, Taraweeh, and the Qur’an we intend to recite.
But have we ever stopped to ask ourselves one painful question?
WHAT IF THIS IS THE RAMADAN YOU NEVER GET TO SEE?
SubḥānAllāh…
What if you are counting down to Ramadan today, but before it arrives, your name becomes a name people mention in the past tense?
What if your family gathers one day, not to welcome you home, but to prepare your body for burial?
What if the people who love you are standing beside your grave, crying, while you can no longer return to apologise, pray another two rakʿahs, give another charity, or say Astaghfirullāh one more time?
And what if, among those tears, someone remembers how you kept saying, “I will change tomorrow”?
Tomorrow. Tomorrow. Tomorrow.
But what if tomorrow never comes for you?
Think about the Muslims who were alive during the last Ramadan. Some of them made beautiful plans for the next one. Some hoped to repent, correct their mistakes, repair broken relationships, and become closer to Allah.
Today, some of those people are beneath the earth.
They are no longer scrolling through their phones. They are no longer making plans. They are no longer saying, “Next Ramadan, in shā’ Allāh.”
Their time in this world has ended, and ours is still passing.
One day, we too will become a memory.
Someone may open your old messages and cry. Someone may look at your pictures and make duʿā’ for you. Someone may stand where you used to stand and wish they could hear your voice one more time.
And the world will continue moving.
The sun will rise. People will go to work. Markets will open. Phones will ring. Life will continue for everyone else.
But your opportunity to add another good deed to your record will have ended.
Dear brother, dear sister, I am not writing this because I know who will die before Ramadan. Nobody knows that except Allah.
I am writing this because none of us has been promised tomorrow.
Allah says:☝️☝️
“Every soul will taste death.”
📖📚 Qur’an 3:185📚📖
Please, do not read this reminder, feel emotional for two minutes, and return to the same life without changing anything.
If you have abandoned your prayers, return to Salah.
If you have wronged someone, seek forgiveness and make things right.
If you are drowning in sins, do not despair of Allah’s mercy. Repent sincerely and keep fighting to become better.
If you have been postponing your relationship with Allah, please stop postponing it.
Do not wait for Ramadan to become the Muslim you keep promising yourself you will become.
We are asking Allah to let us witness Ramadan 1448 AH. But while we ask Him for the blessing of reaching it, let us also ask Him to forgive us before we meet Him.
Imagine reaching Ramadan with a heart that has sincerely repented, a tongue that remembers Allah, and a life that is gradually changing for His sake.
What a beautiful blessing that would be.
And if our appointed time comes before Ramadan, may Allah forgive us, have mercy on us, and grant us a good ending.
Ya Allah, allow us to reach Ramadan. Do not let us leave this world while we are heedless of You. Forgive the sins we hide from people, heal the hearts that are broken, guide those who are lost, and grant us sincere repentance before death reaches us.
Āmīn, yā Rabb al-ʿālamīn. 🤲🏽
Brothers and sisters, Ramadan is approaching. But death does not wait for Ramadan. Start returning to Allah today.
Allah knows best.

THE PROBLEM IS NOT THAT WE LACK KNOWLEDGE. THE PROBLEM IS THAT WE FAIL TO LIVE BY WHAT WE KNOW.
The Muslim Ummah would be in a much better state if we sincerely acted upon the teachings of the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Look at our reality today.📌
• We recite the Qur’an beautifully, but sometimes our character contradicts the very verses we recite.
• We study thousands of hadiths, but neglect to practise the lessons they teach us.
• We speak about patience, yet we become cruel when we are angry.
• We speak about honesty, yet we deceive one another in business.
• We speak about brotherhood, yet we allow jealousy, hatred, tribalism, and division to destroy our unity.
• We speak about modesty, yet we compete for attention and admiration.
• We warn others against backbiting, yet our own gatherings become places where people's honour is destroyed.
• We remind people to pray, yet some of us neglect the rights of our parents, spouses, neighbours, and fellow Muslims.
• We speak about fearing Allah, but behave differently when we think nobody is watching.
Dear brothers and sisters, what has happened to us?
When did we become satisfied with knowing the truth without allowing the truth to change us?
When did we begin measuring righteousness by how much religious knowledge a person possesses, how beautifully they recite, how many Islamic lectures they attend, or how many reminders they post?
Knowledge is a blessing, but knowledge must lead us towards obedience, humility, and better character.
Allah says:☝️☝️
“O you who have believed, why do you say what you do not do?”
📚Qur’an 61:2📖
And Allah says:☝️☝️
“Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.”
📚Qur’an 13:11📖
Read those verses again and reflect.
Perhaps the change we keep demanding from the Muslim community must begin with the person looking back at us in the mirror.
Before blaming the scholars, the leaders, the youth, the elders, or the condition of the Ummah, let each of us ask ourselves:
Am I practising what I preach?
Does my character reflect what I have learnt?
Are people safer from my tongue and my hands?
Does my family experience the mercy I speak about in public?
Am I becoming a better servant of Allah, or am I merely becoming better at speaking about Islam?
The Qur’an was not revealed merely to beautify our voices. It was revealed to guide our lives.
The Sunnah was not preserved merely for us to quote in arguments. It teaches us how to worship Allah and how to live according to the guidance of His Messenger ﷺ.
We do not need to be perfect before we begin practising Islam. We need sincerity, repentance, and a willingness to keep correcting ourselves.
The solution is not to abandon learning. It is to combine authentic knowledge with sincere action.
Let the one who learns about prayer improve their prayer.
Let the one who learns about mercy become more merciful.
Let the one who learns about honesty become more truthful.
Let the one who learns about repentance return to Allah.
And let the one who reminds others remember that they, too, will stand before Allah.
Imagine what our homes, mosques, marriages, businesses, and communities could become if we sincerely practised what we already know.
Imagine children growing up with parents who embody Islamic character, neighbours trusting one another, Muslims protecting one another's honour, and disagreements being handled with justice rather than hatred.
We may not change the entire Ummah in one day, but we can begin by changing ourselves, seeking Allah's help, and encouraging one another towards the truth with wisdom and sincerity.
May Allah make us people of the Qur’an in both recitation and action, people who follow the authentic Sunnah with sincerity, and people whose character reflects the guidance we claim to love.
May Allah forgive our shortcomings, purify our intentions, unite our hearts upon the truth, and rectify the condition of the Muslim Ummah.
Ameen.
Wallahu A‘lam — Allah knows best.
