Here's a number that might surprise you: only 24% of women ages 18–29 believe married mothers are happier than other women. But look at the actual data, and married moms report being "very happy" at more than double the rate of unmarried, childless women in the same age range.
For many young women, their perception and the reality are pulling in opposite directions.

Any parents here with a child with special needs? What type of support are they getting, particularly in school, and are you happy with it?
I will likely move from the UAE later this year and am looking into London or maybe the US (DC area/New York) but also open to other parts of the world too. A major consideration will be a location where my autistic 10 year old can get access to good educational and speech services. At the moment she is in a mainstream setting with an aide and is progressing really well alhamdulilah. Would love to hear about different experiences (my friends in the UK have not been so positive so I need a bigger sample size).
