اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
"O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for a blink of an eye, and rectify for me all of my affairs. None has the right to be worshiped except You."

Single parenting.. where to begin.

A mammoth challenge, a great reward, a rollercoaster of emotion and a task so broad. Allah Al Musta’aan. The solace and serenity lies in the knowledge that Allah is The All Hearing, The All Knowing, The All Seeing- for all those hidden battles fought daily and those little gems flickering from time to time. Alhamdulillah for all that He decrees and for the cards we’ve been dealt.
