They may trigger old traumas, exploit your insecurities, create self-doubt, or use guilt and fear to maintain power over you. What once caused you pain becomes a tool they use to keep you questioning yourself and dependent on their approval.
Recognizing these tactics is the first step toward breaking free. Your trauma is not a weakness for others to exploit—it is part of your story, and your healing belongs to you, not to those who seek to control you.

When is the right time for teenage girls to start taking care of themselves? I don’t want to be too harsh because her father abandoned her. I think that would break her even more.😔🥹 And I don’t want to be too lenient as a Muslim mother so she learns her responsibilities Kind words of advice would be appreciated.
