Hello all.
I do a lot of cross continent road trips.
Only for those who enjoy driving.
We have men and women who join.
Some people come alone in their cars, some come with their kids and others with partners or friends.
No limit to how many people come.
Everybody is responsible for paying for themselves.
I do the planning myself as I've travelled a lot and know what works and what doesn't.
I've spent a lot of time on the road and have 9 cars.
We had a trip planned to China this year so driving from London to China, the Iran war created some difficulties so that couldn't happen, this has deeply saddened me. We were driving a Land Cruiser, Lexus, EP3 and a Jag.
It's an expensive hobby but there's is nothing like traveling by road.
I plan the routes after discussing with all those that are coming. We only stay in hotels, don't do air bnb's. Food is an individual choice, you eat what you want from where ever you want. We only do the driving together in a convoy, once at a destination then everybody does whatever they want to, some people prefer sticking in groups which is fine too but it's personal preference.
If anybody is interested then get in touch, I run it through a club. We don't really have any social media as everybody prefers their privacy.
We have a trip coming up around the Christmas time, we're driving from London to France, then to Spain, then to Italy, then to Denmark (and all the countries in between) and then back to the UK. It's a two week trip in total. People can also choose to end the journey sooner and if they want to drive back from Italy then they can do that, they don't have to come to Denmark, it's not a religious pilgrimage.
It's actually not that expensive. If four friends are coming in one car then the cost is divided by 4. So a £100 hotel room becomes £25 per person. Food is whatever you spend on it. Fuel cost is what it is.
We have all types of cars, 5 litres, 4 litres, 1.6 litres etc.. We follow the speed limit as a convoy, those who want to drive faster then that's their choice but if you car can easily handle 80mph (which is most road worthy cars) then you're good. We take Road safety very seriously of course.

This is not for making any money, nobody profits from it. A lot of people want to travel like this but don't want to do it by themselves. It's a safe place for women, our women travel with us so too.
Only condition is NO ELECTRIC CARS...
I recently travelled in an Electric GWagon and it added on 3 hours to the journey. Never again.
This trip has nothing to do with religion or marriage. This is only for those who want to travel by car.

Any other UK peeps, I'm spending I think around £7 a day on petrol that's about £210 if travelling everyday. Is this the same for others?

Number # 1 thing to do when driving... Never drive next to a car, especially a truck or lorry 🚚 . You are in their blind spot and they will slide straight into you as they're changing lanes.

Couple months ago, I almost got killed by a truck 🚚 driver as he moved into my lane when I was right next to him.

Number # 2 ... keep a 2 to 4 second gap from the car in front of you.... wtf is wrong with you people.
