Hasan al-Basri:
“I saw people (the Companions)
If you had seen the Sahabah, you
would've said: They're crazy! If the Sahabah had seen you, they'd say: They're not Muslims!”
He was rebuking the Tabi’in people who prayed in the night, fasted, memorized Qur’an, fought in jihad, and had met the Sahaba themselves. That generation, he said, would look like disbelievers in the Day of Reckoning next to the Companions.
Now Question What would Hasan Al-Basri would have said about current generation about us.

If we did not ask from Him who shall we ask from
If you did not cry out to Him for help who will help you then?
When others feel they have whom to run to for help, You should run to the Creator of the problem the Solver and one whom everything is possible with Him and ask Him.🥰

Sometimes, we beg Allah for something with all our heart, yet it doesn't happen. The Quran says the reason is Allah's knowledge. He knows the future of every choice, while we only see today. What feels like "no" may actually be Allah saving us from harm we can not foresee.
