I matched with someone on this app, and we started talking. Our conversations went well for the first three or four days. After that, her replies became slower and slower.

I kept waiting for her messages, but she rarely responded. Eventually, I asked her, “Are you really interested?” There was no reply. Later, when I opened the app again, I found that she had blocked me.

Before blocking me, her last message was:

“I’m sorry for making you wait. You deserve someone better. Allah Hafiz.”

This experience made me wonder whether some people on matrimonial apps are here just to pass the time rather than seriously looking for marriage. I hope that’s not true for everyone.

One of my uncles is in the hospital. Please make dua for him. He has water in his lungs, they will be doing a surgery on him tomorrow.

O Allah, Lord of all people. اللهم ربَّ الناس

Remove the suffering and hardship. أذهب البأس

Heal them, for You are the Healer. واشفِهم، أنت الشافي

There is no healing except Your healing. شفاء إلا شفاؤك

A cure that leaves no trace of illness. شفاءً لا يغادر سقما

May Allah accept this beautiful Du’a and grant complete healing to every individual that’s sick and suffering,
