As-salamu alaykum. I wanted to ask if anyone has experience with sharing Islam with the Hispanic community, especially with people whose first language is Spanish and who do not speak English very well.

From my own experience, I have spoken with many Hispanics from different backgrounds, including many Mexicans, and a lot of them have either never heard much about Islam or do not really know what Muslims believe. However, they are often very curious when I speak about Islam, my love and respect for Allah, the importance of prayer, and how Islam has affected my life.

I would like to help make reliable Islamic information more accessible in Spanish. Does anyone know where I could order Spanish-language pamphlets, Qur’an translations, or low-cost booklets that I could respectfully give to people who are interested?

I am especially looking for beginner-friendly materials about topics such as what Islam is, who Allah is, the five pillars, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and Jesus in Islam.

Any recommendations for trustworthy organizations, websites, or Spanish-speaking dawah groups would be greatly appreciated. Jazakum Allahu khayran.

Pakistani dramas are the most toxic i have ever seen in my life. They teach manipulation, lies, being mopy, lots of abuse. When i hear it even for a minute i get an uneasiness and an urge to leave the premises. The uneasiness is so real that it disturbs my peace. Over some time my anger has calmed down. Ive noticed how you are what you watch. My mom and sisters watch these shows. I dispise it. They do not even respect Islam because if they did. A married couple wouldnt mock the sunnah of drinking from a same glass. Yes, i have jeard a dialog from the drama expressing the hatred of sharing drinks with your spouse...... i do dispise them even more after hearing them mock a sunnah. Shame on Pakistan.

We keep raising our standards for marriage...
while lowering our standards for dating or Haram relationships.
Girlfriend: "Just be pretty or alive or most important greedy"
Boyfriend: "Just be rich"

But for a spouse?
Height, salary, looks, family, education, deen, emotional stability, way of dressing, status... the checklist has more pages than my M.Phil thesis and anyone job description. 😂

Then we wonder why people delay marriage and settle for temporary relationships.

At this rate, even NASA's hiring process looks easier. 🚀😅😅😅

This is just my personal opinion, and I fully respect that others may see it differently.

Personally, I think having more than one wife is overrated. If you have genuine compatibility, mutual respect, and deep love with one person, I believe one wife is enough. I’ve always believed in the idea of true love or finding the person you’re meant to build a life with, and that’s something I value very highly.

I understand that in some cultures and religions, including Islam, polygyny is permitted under certain conditions. I respect that, and I don’t judge people who choose that path. At the same time, for me personally, I don’t think it would be right. I feel that my heart would rather be fully devoted to one wife, and I think that kind of exclusive commitment is what I would want in my own marriage.

Again, this isn’t a criticism of anyone else’s beliefs or choices. It’s simply my own preference and the kind of marriage I hope to have.
