Hey
Why every girl is looking for religious Bill Gates? Girl our prophet was poor. Will you also reject him?

Assalamu alaikum everyone! 🌸
I have a question for both the brothers and sisters!
What are your expectations for your future spouse? 💍
For the brothers: What do you look for in a future wife? What qualities are important to you, and what kind of woman do you envision building a life with?
For the sisters: What do you look for in a future husband? What qualities matter most to you, and what kind of man would make you feel safe, loved, respected, and valued?
I’m also curious about your ideal marriage. What does a healthy Islamic marriage look like to you? How do you envision dividing responsibilities, handling disagreements, communicating, and supporting each other through life’s challenges?
Do you prefer a more traditional marriage, a partnership where responsibilities are shared equally, or something in between?
And finally, what do you expect from your spouse, and what are you willing to bring to the marriage yourself? Because I believe it’s just as important to think about what we can offer as what we want to receive. 😊
Let’s have a respectful discussion! I’m genuinely curious to hear different perspectives. 🤍

Assalamualaikum, good morning from Indonesia. May we always be healthy and always under the protection of Allah. May all our affairs be made easy. Behind sadness there will be happiness later, amen.

Hi everyone , assalammualaikum 🤗
Thank you so much for all the warm responses on my previous post! I’d like to share a bit more context about my situation.
I am married, i am originally from Asia and recently moved to the Netherlands 3 months ago , my husband is Turkish origin but born and raised in Netherlands.
I have never meet my in-laws, right now they are in Turkey, they will probably back to the Netherlands in December. InsyaAllah
I spend most of my days alone at home. I joined this app with my husband permission. I am completely open to connecting with either men or women, as long as it is strictly for pure friendship, helping each other out, and being in a positive environment not for dating or any other purpose. I recently received a letter from the Sociale Dienst regarding my inburgering (I need to reach B1 level within 3 years). I am still learning Dutch and my husband's family sometimes speaks Turkish around me, I often feel overwhelmed and lack the confidence to socialise.
I said to my husband i want to work so i can have a friend but my husband is worried because of my language barrier, as he wants to protect me from bad environments in work or might hurt me.
my head feels full. Is it better for me to just focus on studying Dutch at home and accept this loneliness for now, or how do you manage building a positive social circle here while learning the language?
I’d really appreciate any advice or shared experiences from anyone who has been in a similar situation! 💕
Thank you 🙏
