Saw a post from a sister from India where she mentioned that they had their nikah done in the Masjid, mashaAllah

And that made me curious. Is the bride physically present in the Masjid for nikah in parts of India?

I'm asking coz I've never seen a single case (I'm from the North) where both the groom and bride were there in the Masjid for nikah. The bride remains at home and her Wakeel goes, gets her consent, and informs the Imam, the groom, and the attendees present in the Masjid.

Just a suggestion 😄 Maybe try conducting the matchmaking like this? It could make things more fun and meaningful. Take it or leave it — just an idea! 😂

2 years on different matrimonial application ( New on Muzz)… and I still haven’t found “my person.” 😅

At this point, I’ve realised finding a life partner is probably harder than finding a job. 😂

You talk to someone → things seem promising → suddenly it’s “I don’t think we’re compatible.”
Or you match → talk for a few days → and then… vanished. 👻

But honestly, I’m still hopeful. I’m not looking for perfection. I’m looking for someone with whom conversation feels easy, intentions are genuine, values align, and both people actually want to make it work.
