I want to share something that happened to me recently.

I was talking to a girl for about a month. We met on the Muzz platform, which is mainly for people who are serious about marriage. 💍 Since both of us were there with the intention of nikah, I believed we were moving in the same direction.

After talking on Muzz for a few days, we shifted to WhatsApp. 📱 Things were going well at first, but then she suddenly started communicating less. By that time, I had become emotionally invested in the relationship. ❤️

I asked her, "What happened? Why are you ignoring me? You're reading my messages, but even after two days you're not replying."

She replied that she was busy with work or spending time with her family. She works as a lawyer ⚖️ and lives away from her family. This continued for almost two weeks.

Later, I called her. 📞 She declined my calls and texted me, "Do not call me." I assumed she might be upset, so I didn't react much.

After that, she started ghosting me more often. 👻 She blocked my calls, then told me to only text her. Eventually, she blocked me on WhatsApp as well. 🚫

After some effort from my second phone, she unblocked me. Things seemed normal again for a couple of days, but then the ghosting started once more. Today, she blocked me again.

I genuinely tried everything to make things work. 🤝 I even cried because I cared about her. 😢 I convinced my parents that we should take a marriage proposal to her family, since she herself had initially suggested bringing a rishta. She had even shared her mother's phone number and address. My family eventually agreed, despite her being two years older than me.

I trusted her completely and even shared my Instagram login details with her. 🔐

In the end, I got some reality checks. 💡

• Never become more emotionally invested than the other person. ❤️‍🩹
• Pay attention to actions, not just words. 👀
• Consistency matters more than promises. ⏳
• If someone repeatedly chooses distance, respect their decision and protect your self-respect. 🫡
• Effort and trust should always be mutual. 🤝
• Never ignore red flags just because you love someone. 🚩
• Never force a connection when the other person is pulling away. 🛑

My personal conclusions from this experience:

• Never date or marry a lawyer. ⚖️ In my experience, I felt constantly judged and doubted.
• Never date or marry someone who earns significantly more than you if it creates an imbalance in respect, expectations, or commitment. 💰
• Never lose your self-respect while trying to keep someone in your life. 👑
• If someone truly wants to be with you, they will not make you beg for basic communication. 💬

These are my personal opinions based on my own experience. They may not apply to everyone.

Sometimes, no matter how sincere your intentions are, not every story reaches its destination. 💔

But every experience teaches you something valuable. 🌱✨
