Muslims in India

Assalamualaikum, Being a revert I can surely say that Islam is a true religion but I will follow my culture also.
I am not saying that I will do any worship of idols.
But following own ancestors culture should be follow.
We Indian muslims should not be like Pakistani muslims.
They don't have any identity, there is identity crisis.
I want that our future generations will proudly say that they have own culture like Iran, afghanistan, turkey, indonesia etc have
