A guy aged 25–28, if he’s looking for marriage, how much should he ideally be earning?

I understand that financial stability matters. Marriage comes with responsibilities, and money definitely plays a role.

But is salary the only benchmark we should be looking at?

I was scrolling Muzz and came across a girl whose bio literally starts with:

“Strictly looking for a guy earning 30 LPA+.”

And then, towards the end:

“I believe in growing together.”

Didi… respectfully, if your first filter is already 30 LPA, are you looking for someone to grow with, or someone who has already grown enough for you? 😭

And this isn’t just about girls. Guys have their own unrealistic expectations too.

So genuinely curious:

What do you guys think is a reasonable financial benchmark for marriage at 25–28?

And more importantly, how much should money actually matter when choosing a life partner?
