A Beautiful Story of Repentance from the Life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and told him that he had committed a sin with a woman, short of fornication. He had prayed with the Prophet ﷺ.
Then Allah revealed the verse:
“And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds.”
— Qur’an 11:114
The man asked, “O Messenger of Allah, is this forgiveness for me?”
The Prophet ﷺ replied, “It is for whoever among my Ummah acts upon it.”
The lesson: Never despair of Allah’s mercy when you make a mistake. Turn back to Him sincerely, repent, pray, and fill your life with good deeds. Allah’s mercy is vast. 🤍
