A Message to the Ummah ❤️

Quran – Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286)

لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا

"Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear."

May Allah Swt, forgive our sins, strengthen our Imaan, unite our Ummah, may protect the oppressed, ease the suffering of those in hardship, and bless us all with his mercy and guidance.
Ameen Ya Rabbal Aalameen. 🤲

Assalamualaikum,

There's this girl I came across on Muzz.

I was kinda doom-swiping through profiles, skipping almost everyone because I wasn't really interested in seeing anyone. But then her profile popped up, and I suddenly stopped for a moment. I don't know what happened to me at that exact moment, but something felt different.

Later, I realised that my heart had literally skipped a beat when I saw her. It felt like I had known her for ages, even though we'd never met in real life.

I sent her a like and waited for a response (I didn't even know how the app worked back then 😭). Later, I discovered that there was an option to compliment someone, so I wrote to her with complete honesty, telling her that I genuinely wanted to know more about her.

And guess what? SHE LIKED MY PROFILE BACK! 😭 I was literally in heaven. 😭

Even though I hesitated before making the first move and sending that compliment, it was totally worth it. 😭❤️

Later, she accepted my request, and we started chatting. Although, honestly, there wasn't much of a conversation. I got only two replies from her over the span of 4-5 days. 🫠

Still, I kept hoping and asking Allah Ta'ala to make things work out. While waiting for her replies, I would find myself wondering where she was and wishing I could just have a conversation with her, get to know her better, and learn more and more about her.

Somehow, it felt like I had developed a connection with her, even without really knowing her.

Then came one random night.

I woke up in the middle of my sleep, around 3 AM, and opened Muzz to see her once and whether she had replied or not.

But what I saw completely broke me.

She had unmatched me. 🙃

And BRO, I fumbled so hard. I felt so low that, for the whole night, I genuinely forgot about myself. All I could do was keep asking Allah Ta'ala, "Why? Why did this happen?"

I genuinely liked her, and I think it was only after she unmatched me that I truly realised just how much.

Later, I sent a rematch request. Maybe it's still sitting in her requests, or maybe she's gone for good. I honestly don't know.

But I've never felt anything like what I felt that night. It's been days, and she's still stuck in my heart and mind.

And after everything, I've come to a conclusion: I think I've kinda fallen in love with her. 🫠

Now she's not here anymore.

Maybe she's not written in my naseeb, or maybe she is. Only Allah knows.

But I genuinely wish we somehow find our way back to each other. ❤️

And if she's not meant for me, then I pray that she lives happily, finds everything she's looking for, and achieves everything she's ever dreamt of.

Because despite everything, I still wish the best for her.

Adios. 🥀

"Stared at, left out or made to feel like you don't belong because of your hijab, beard, abaya or your faith? 🤍
Feeling out of place as a Muslim can wear on your heart and mind. In Surah Al-Kahf, Allah tells us about the People of the Cave, youth who held on to their faith while their people drifted away. He strengthened their hearts and promised mercy (18:13-16). It's a reminder from Islamic psychology that you're not alone, and that feeling hurt or tired doesn't mean your iman is weak.
What helps:
• Admit it hurts, that's human
• Find one or two sincere people (18:28)
• Make the dua of the cave (18:10)
• Hold on to your faith without losing yourself
Read Surah Al-Kahf this Friday. Save this for the day you feel out of place, and send it to someone who's holding on.
If you're facing harassment, tell someone you trust and report it. Seek professional help if isolation affects your mood, sleep or daily life.

As-salamu alaykum everyone. I’m posting here because I honestly need some real feedback and perspective from the community.

I’ve been taking this search for a wife very seriously and have put in genuine effort:
Verified profile ✅
Complete bio with clear, high-quality photos ✅
Detailed interests & values listed ✅
Muzz Gold subscription + sending active Instant Compliments ✅
Tried multiple avenues (Nikah, Ikhtiar, and local matrimony groups) ✅
Despite all this, it has been total radio silence—zero matches, zero responses back to thoughtful compliments, and no engagement.
Honestly, it gets really disheartening after investing so much time, energy, and money. It makes you start overthinking and wondering: Is there something wrong with me? Am I just bad looking, is the algorithm working against men, or is the app culture itself just broken?

For those of you who actually managed to make progress or find a spouse through these platforms:

  1. What turned things around for you?
  2. What are the subtle red flags or turn-offs on a man's profile that make women pass on it?
  3. Are instant compliments actually helpful, or do women prefer a different approach?

I’d really appreciate raw, honest advice or constructive feedback. JazakAllah khair.
