It’s been a while since I’ve properly used Muzz… so let’s make things a little more interesting, shall we?

Women.... ask me anything! Ok la, bros can also ask if you want! 😂

What do I mean?

I’m a revert, and I’ve been on my journey with Islam for the past 2–3 years. Before that, my life was pretty much the antithesis of the person I’m trying to become today. Women, parties, alcohol… the works.

14 years ago, even before finding my way home to Islam, I gave up alcohol, cigarettes and partying. I focused on work, family… and then ALSO proceeded to date A LOT! Like "A LOT-A LOT"!

And somehow, repeatedly, women who couldn't have been more wrong for me. Smokers when I hated smoking. Party girls when I didn't party. People whose ambitions, lifestyles and values were completely different from mine.

Basically, I learnt compatibility (or lack thereof) the expensively painful way.

I’ve failed. I’ve loved. I’ve been hurt. I’ve hurt people, unintentionally. I’ve made terrible choices, learnt painful lessons and, Alhamdulillah, grown enormously along the way.

Don't get me wrong.... I’m not claiming to have all the answers. But if some lesson from my wonderfully questionable life choices can shed even a little light on something you're going through….
