The eyes were dry but the heart was wet, we were not crying, we were just slowly dying from within. Sometimes the pain in life is so deep that even the tears leave us. A person wants to cry, scream, open his heart to someone, but then he becomes silent because he feels that perhaps no one will understand his pain.
People often understand that the person in front of them is worried when they see tears, but the most dangerous pain is the one that does not reach the eyes. It lives quietly somewhere inside the heart and weakens a person a little bit every day. A person laughs, talks to people, does his work, but inside he is not the same as before.
There are some wounds that even time cannot heal immediately. Some people, some things and some memories leave a silent pain inside a person forever. Then a person stops crying, stops complaining, and slowly buries his emotions.
Perhaps the most painful moment is when a person is alive, but the feeling of living has been lost somewhere. When the heart wants to say a lot but the words do not come. When the eyes are dry but the soul is constantly crying inside.
We were not crying… because the tears had run out, they were just dying silently from within.#
