🌿🤍 A Beautiful Supplication That Encompasses the Good of This World and the Hereafter
A man once came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked:
“O Messenger of Allah, what should I say when I ask my Lord?”
The Prophet ﷺ replied:
“O Allah, forgive me, have mercy upon me, grant me well-being, and provide for me.”
He then explained that these supplications encompass the good of this world and the Hereafter.
— Sahih Muslim (2697)
Reflect upon the beauty of these simple yet profound words.
Through them, we seek forgiveness for our shortcomings, mercy for our souls, well-being in our lives, and provision from the boundless generosity of Allah.
How beautiful that a few sincere words can encompass so much of what the heart needs and the soul longs for.
🤍 May Allah grant us His forgiveness, envelop us in His mercy, bless us with lasting well-being, and provide for us the best of this world and the Hereafter.

🌿🤍 دعاءٌ عظيمٌ يجمع لك خيري الدنيا والآخرة.
جاء رجلٌ إلى رسول الله ﷺ فقال:
«يا رَسولَ اللهِ، كيفَ أقولُ حينَ أسألُ رَبِّي؟»
فقال النبي ﷺ:
«قُلْ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَعَافِنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي».
ثم قال ﷺ:
«فَإِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ تَجْمَعُ لَكَ دُنْيَاكَ وَآخِرَتَكَ».
— رواه مسلم (٢٦٩٧).
تأمّل جمال هذا الدعاء، وعظيم ما اشتمل عليه من خيري الدنيا والآخرة.
مغفرةٌ تمحو الذنوب، ورحمةٌ نرجو بها فضل الله، وعافيةٌ نحمده عليها في الدين والبدن، ورزقٌ نسأله أن يكون طيبًا مباركًا.
ما أعظمها من كلماتٍ يسيرة، وما أوسع ما تحمله من معاني الافتقار إلى الله، والرجاء في رحمته، والطمع في كريم عطائه.
فما أجمل أن تسأل الله بدعاءٍ علّمنا إياه نبيّه ﷺ، جمع فيه من المطالب العظيمة ما تحتاج إليه النفس في دنياها وأخراها.
🤍 اللهم اغفر لنا، وارحمنا، واهدنا، وعافنا، وارزقنا من واسع فضلك، واجمع لنا خيري الدنيا والآخرة.
