Prophet Suleiman asked an ant how much food it needed for a year
The ant replied, "Two grains of wheat." He placed the ant in a container with two grains, but when he checked a year later, the ant had only eaten one.
The ant explained that when it was free, it trusted Allah to provide, so it ate freely. But when it was under the care of a human, it wasn't sure if he would remember to provide, so it saved half as a precaution.
Why it Resonates?
The message is that we often trust "the means" (our jobs, our plans, other people) more than the One who actually controls everything.
Real trust isn't when things are going well; it's when things are uncertain.
