As Salāmu ’Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh 🤍

A genuine question for those who are serious about marriage.

We often ask about deen, finances, family, children, and future goals. But many people avoid talking about intimacy because it feels awkward.

Yet intimacy is one of the rights of both spouses and an important part of a healthy marriage.

So, is it appropriate to respectfully ask someone you’re planning to marry whether they have any medical or physical condition that could affect intimacy?

If yes, how would you ask without embarrassing them or crossing Islamic boundaries?

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Let’s keep the discussion respectful and beneficial, bi’idhnillāh. 🌿

May Allah reward every first wife beyond what words can describe. May He replace every tear with joy, every hardship with ease, every sleepless night with tranquillity, every sacrifice with endless rewards. May He preserve your honour, bless your children, increase your husband’s love and appreciation for you, make your home a place of sakinah, and grant you Al-Firdaus without reckoning. Āmīn Yā Rabbal-’Ālamīn. 🤲🤲

Now permit me to speak to you from my heart…

Ẹ̀yin Ìyàwó Àgbà…

Wallāhi…

I know it hurts.

No woman dreams of sharing the man she loves.

Jumu’ah discussion 📖
Everyone says they want “peace.”
But what does a peaceful marriage actually look like to you?
Is it:
• Constant communication?
• Shared Islamic goals?
• Financial stability?
• Emotional safety?
• Something else?
I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Sisters only…

If your husband suddenly lost his wealth but remained a practicing Muslim with excellent character…

Would you still choose him every day?..

Why and why not

Brothers only…

A serious question.

If your wife lost her beauty after childbirth or illness, would your love for her decrease?

If your answer is “no,” what would keep your love alive?

If your answer is “yes,” why?

As Salāmu ’Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh 🌸

It’s Jumu’ah.

A question for both brothers and sisters:

What’s one non-negotiable in a spouse that has nothing to do with looks, money, height, or nationality?

Something you believe every successful marriage must have.

Let’s learn from one another, in shā’ Allāh.
