Lessons Written by the Sky
The sky never keeps the same face for long.
At dawn, it whispers that every ending can become a beginning by the permission of Allah.
When the rain falls, it reminds the earth that mercy often arrives from above, long before we know we need it.
The storm teaches a different lesson.
Not every dark sky has come to destroy.
Some storms clear the air, soften the ground, and leave behind a world greener than before.
Then night arrives.
The stars appear one by one, never competing for brightness.
Each shines where Allah has placed it, and together they make the darkness easier to bear.
The moon does not produce its own light.
Yet Allah allows it to brighten the night.
A reminder that we do not have to be the source of every good thing.
Sometimes it is enough to reflect the light He has already given.
Then the sun slips beneath the horizon.
The sunset does not mourn because daylight has ended.
It leaves quietly, trusting that dawn has already been written.
Perhaps that is the language of the sky.
To welcome every season with trust.
To change without complaint.
To remain beneath the command of the One who never changes.
The more I look upward, the more my heart remembers that every colour above me is a sign pointing beyond itself, to Allah, the Creator of every dawn, every raindrop, every storm, every star, every sunset, and every moonlit night.

People who keep rocks for no reason, who touch leaves when they walk by, who stop to watch insects like it actually matters, who feel calmer the moment they step into nature… you’re my type of people.

Subhanallah, the full moon tonight is so beautiful 🌕✨
The most breathtaking moon I’ve ever seen was in Makkah 🌕🕋
Looking at it back then somehow reminded me of Rasulullah’s miracle, where the moon split into two.
No photos tonight because my phone camera won't do it justice.
Please step outside and enjoy it with your own eyes!

In a world that can sometimes feel fast and overwhelming, Islam reminds us of a beautiful, grounding truth: Mercy is at the heart of faith.
In the Quran, God (Allah) describes Himself first and foremost as The Most Merciful and The Most Compassionate. This isn’t just an attribute to admire; it’s a standard we are called to live by every single day.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) beautifully summarized this universal value:
"The Merciful One shows mercy to those who are merciful. Be merciful to those on earth, and the One in the heavens will have mercy upon you."
What does this mean for us today?
Kindness is a form of worship: A simple smile, a helping hand, or a comforting word to someone in need is deeply rewarded.
Universal Compassion: Islamic mercy isn’t limited to a specific group—it extends to family, strangers, neighbors, and even animals and the environment.
Inner Peace: When we choose to forgive and show empathy, we reflect the divine peace we all seek.
Let’s make an intention today to be a source of comfort and kindness to someone around us.

Where the Earth Remembers
I walked through a quiet forest today.
Nothing seemed to be in a hurry.
No tree stretched itself into tomorrow.
No young tree felt ashamed because it had not grown as tall as the old tree beside it.
Each one stood where Allah had placed it, growing at the pace He had written for it.
It made me wonder why we are so quick to measure our lives against someone else's season.
We apologize for taking too long.
We apologize for healing slowly.
We apologize for not becoming everything overnight.
Yet the earth never does.
It receives the rain when it comes.
It endures the dry days when they arrive.
Then, without announcing it to anyone, it blooms again.
Perhaps that is one of the quiet lessons Allah has scattered across His creation.
Growth that is rushed is often admired.
Growth that is patient is often forgotten.
But the One who causes a seed to split open beneath layers of silent soil has never mistaken slowness for failure.
Maybe we shouldn't either.
