I’ve got a few ideas that I think could improve the app. Let me know your thoughts.
I’m always happy to share feedback and ideas, and feel free to reach out directly.

1. Stories Feature
   A stories feature similar to Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok could work really well. As the app seems to be evolving beyond just marriage-focused interactions and more towards networking and community engagement, this could increase user activity and engagement.

2. Comment Moderation
   It would be great if users could delete comments on their own threads. I’ve noticed spam comments appearing on some of my posts, and despite reporting them, they often remain visible.

3. Verified Profiles
   A verification badge would be a valuable addition. I’ve noticed some Jamaa staff members already have this feature, and it could be expanded to content creators, influencers, and other notable community members to help build trust and authenticity.

4. Private Profiles
   Give users the option to make their profiles private. This would allow people to have greater control over their privacy and choose who can view their profile, content, and activity, creating a safer and more comfortable experience for users who prefer a more selective approach.

Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on these ideas.

I came across this issue today, muzz no longer translating Morse Code 😔

When you have set your marriage profile to "hide from everyone", do you still show up in other people's "visited you" profiles list (those profiles you had visited before changing settings to the "hide from everyone" setting?)

When sending a compliment
I think you should be notified if it’s been seen or dismissed
Rather than having to check their profile to see if it’s been dismissed or awaiting a response

I also think if it’s been dismissed we should be able to remove them from our compliments section rather than having to block them so we don’t see them again

Also, if we’re paying for a compliment and it’s dismissed then we should be able to re use it as the purpose of this app should be to support marriage. Of course the app also needs to make money hence the charging of compliments but I think re use would allow users to feel they’re getting more value

How do you know if you're a popular member? I just got a "like from a popular member" and I didn't know that was a thing.

...Maybe I shouldn't have argued with my previous matches. 😅

Notification Controls and Improvements

Could you add a setting that lets us turn notifications on or off, especially promotional ones?

It is also frustrating to see the same notification multiple times even after we have already viewed it.

It would help to have an option to mark all notifications as read or clear them in one action.

Why is it saying that I "matched" at 00:19? I matched with him once and then the match expired. He revisited my profile a couple of times, and I clicked on his profile, like I do for everyone in the Visited You section. I did not swipe right on him again. Please fix this error. And instead of "Chat" and "Liked You", please reset the likes after a match expires, so that I can swipe left or right on a previous match.
