Life after break up

I have been obsessed with a barge holiday.
London is crisscrossed with canals and you can leave the city and literally travel across some parts of the country.
Fun fact -The Grand Union Canal is the longest merged canal in the UK, stretching 137 miles from London to Birmingham.
Sad Fact - not ONE of my friends considers this fun, 😔

Alhamdulillah for the ease of performing umrah in our time. What once required months of preparation, substantial expense, and organised groups is now a DIY journey, booked online, navigated by smartphone, completed at one's own pace.
This is Allah's mercy and blessings. May we all visit the two Holy Mosques frequently.

Have you ever been watching those videos and ads showing the beauty of the Maldives' beaches and resorts then you thought that this might be your dream destination but it is really expensive to do it?! Let me tell you that the real Maldives is different than the one you see on TV (yes😅).
The Maldives is considered pretty expensive as a torusitic destination, that's true, so forget about shopping as your main expenses will turn around food and transport.
I have chosen to do things differently by staying at a local island called Maafushi accessible by speedboat from the airport. First, this has allowed me to experience the real Maldivian life with the local citizens, their culture and habits. I have been able to rent a room at a small villa owned by a local with a reasonable budget unlike staying in expensive resorts located in far away islands (accessible by air and no local life around). Second, I have not only enjoyed the beach plus the local food, but have also moved around since Maafushi is close to the capital by speedboat booked in advance (about 25 min).
As to the food, there are local and Indian restaurants, small markets selling fish and vegetables, local bakery and coffee shops...
Spending a week is more than enough to explore around, there are also water activities available. It's really peaceful and you will be disconnected from the noisy life.
Feel free to ask or share your own experience 🙏😊
