Greenland has been nothing but good to me... Such an unexpected place

5 days trek in High Atlas (Toubkal) with my 9yrs old. For weeks we have been collecting funds for mental health charity with aim to summit Mount Toubkal.

Day 1.

From Aroumd, through Tizi n'Tamatert to Amsakrou. What an amazing introduction to High Atlas Mountains and 1st step towards acclimatisation for my son.
The views, the air and of course, the food.
We had a mountain leader, a porter/cook and a mule which carried our 5 days food supplies and baggage.
We had a lunch at Tizi n'Tamatert, a stunning High Atlas mountain pass, sitting at an elevation of 2,279 meters. Then we went down again and spent night at Amsakrou. Absolutely beautiful mountain village and with wonderful Amazigh people.
